Crossroads Homeslices

Made a quick flyer for Keith Wadsworth.  He's throwing a show at CrossRoads Coffee Shop, which will include a couple of local acoustic bands.  Keith said he would be playing a bit as well and let me assure you that alone is worth the trip. Homeslice is a modern Zeus-like Electric guitar god, minus the toga and white hair, he's a red-head actually. Fran Westerfer, Zombies on the Radio and East of the River (no site?) will be playing that night as well and at first listen, I think they sound great. Good chill rock stuff. They're the future people, like the one in Back to the Future, maybe better.

As for me, I'm working on moving, a wedding, a website and a number of other fun things, which I'll show everyone in due time.

Til next time, PEACE.

Steve's Club and PaleoKits

Just a couple of designs for Steve's Club and Steve's Originals.

Steve's Club is a fitness program for inner city youth that live in "at-risk" neighborhoods.  It keeps them of the street and teaches them how to stay fit and keep healthy. Steve's Originals is a chain of food products that help to fund Steve's Club.

First off, being an inner city kid and struggling in that environment, I think it is very, very important to support these types of programs.  I myself have benefited from such programs, like ASPIRA, that focus on the youth of these types of neighborhoods.  Here is a link to their blog:

Second, if you haven't heard of the Paleo Diet, click "Paleo Diet" right now. Basically, you're looking at a diet of meat, veggies and fat that WILL help you lean out and gain proper muscle.  My wonderful fiancee suggested it and I follow it loosely. I have seen and felt almost instant results from eating lots of veggies, meat and from the world's greatest natural resource, bacon.

Steve's Originals is a packaged snack solution for those who are enjoying this particular diet.  As I said before, these power packed paleo packages help fund Steve's Club and from experience, they're good as hell. Like, really, really good. Here's the link:

Until next time. PEACE

Vodka Infusions

Hey peoples.  A little late but here are pictures of the gifts Meghan and myself made and gave out for Christmas.  We took 3 huge bottles of Smirnoff, tested them before we worked, tested them again, then added a bit of vanilla to one, lemon rind to another and cinnamon sticks to the last.  After we let them sit, we tested them once more ;)  Each different vodka then became it's own beautiful color, the cinnamon became a glorious chocolate brown, the lemon started to look like lemonade and even the vanilla gained a bit of a toasted marshmallow complexion.  Man, liquor is a beautiful thing.

Meghan and I collaborated on the design of the tag and printed and finished them ourselves.  You can find more great recipes for DIY vodka infusions online (Bacon Infused!) Enjoy!
Ps.  There was one we made with blueberries, but that one was for us ;)

Snowpocalypse 2

Happy Snowpocalypse 2!  Hope you enjoy a wonderful day of drinking, video game playing, movie watching and general vegetation!  Remember, Martial Law is declared, so public drinking is allowed and recommended during these times.  Make sure lot's of bacon is made and good beer is consumed.  Have Fun!

Editor's note: Vanilla Vodka and orange juice taste like Fun Dip Lik-a-Stix.  Oh no, running out of drinks.
Also not my picture.  Don't sue. PEACE
